We are seeking a Chief Logistics Officer to join our team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be responsible for shaping our strategic operational direction, driving transformative change, and ensuring operational excellence to support business growth. The ideal candidate possesses a strong track record in managing complex operations, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

The Chief Logistics Officer is expected to:

• Oversee Saf-Gard's warehouse, fleet, and retail operations. With a focus on warehouse operations.
• Drive process improvement initiatives
• Lead and optimize day-to-day operations through hands on involvement
• Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions
• Maintain a working knowledge of all phases of operations
• Train and mentor operation team members
• Evaluate work of management and executive team members
• Work closely with Human Resources to implement and refine company policies and procedures
• Oversee logistical aspects of acquisitions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree; advanced degrees/certifications preferred
• 10+ years experience operational management
• Deep knowledge of warehouse, fleet, and retail operations
• Analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to travel (30%-40% annually- likely more in the first year)
